BRAND CHALLENGE
CPT (Connected Platform Technology) was an enterprise IoT device management and network operations platform developed by Iointel USA for a major telecommunications provider. The platform was designed to monitor, manage, and schedule thousands of connected devices deployed across the United States, providing operations teams with real-time visibility into device health, network performance, provisioning status, and deployment activities to support a growing ecosystem of networking products and services.
The brand needed to position itself within the competitive telecommunications and connectivity market while remaining flexible enough to accommodate an expanding product portfolio. The identity had to communicate advanced technology without becoming overly complex, ensuring strong recognition across enterprise and consumer touchpoints.
The challenge was to create a modern technology brand that could establish a strong market presence while supporting a complex enterprise software platform. The visual identity needed to communicate innovation, connectivity, speed, and reliability across multiple products, while the user interface had to simplify vast amounts of operational data into intuitive workflows for network operations teams. Both the brand and product experience needed to remain scalable, consistent, and flexible enough to support future product expansion and white-label deployments for multiple telecommunications providers.
I was responsible for creating the complete visual identity, developing a modern and scalable brand system that communicates innovation, speed, reliability, and seamless connectivity.
The objective was to establish a distinctive identity capable of supporting multiple technologies and future product extensions while remaining consistent across digital and commercial applications.

SOLUTION
The project involved extensive concept exploration, investigating a wide range of visual directions inspired by wireless communication, data transmission, connected devices, and digital ecosystems.
Multiple logo families, typography systems, colour palettes, and symbolic approaches were developed and refined through an iterative design process. Particular focus was placed on scalability, legibility, and creating a cohesive visual language suitable for both digital interfaces and marketing collateral.
I developed a comprehensive design system spanning both brand identity and product design. The engagement began with extensive logo exploration, typography, colour strategy, and brand architecture, resulting in a scalable identity capable of supporting products such as CPT WiFi, CPT 5G, and CPT PassPoint. Building upon this visual foundation, I designed the enterprise platform’s complete user experience, including real-time monitoring dashboards, geospatial network visualisations, inventory management, reporting tools, scheduling interfaces, and interactive prototypes. The final solution delivered a unified brand and digital product ecosystem that strengthened recognition, simplified complex operational workflows, and provided a scalable framework for future enterprise deployments.

Several logo architectures were explored, from geometric letterforms and modular typography to abstract connectivity symbols representing network infrastructure and data flow. - Outcome: The project delivered a comprehensive brand identity system that established CPT as a modern technology brand with a scalable foundation for future products and services. The identity balances technical precision with contemporary aesthetics, enabling consistent communication across digital platforms, presentations, product branding, and commercial marketing materials.
